Founded in 1986, ANTIKA evolved from a small boutique of Australian architects and designers of greek ethnicity.
ANTIKA means antique, translated from Greek and Turkish. The name is a reflection of the aesthetics of antiquity with a contemporary interpretation. The company evolved from architecture, heritage conservation and furniture design, to the design of jewellery and ornamental pieces.
Antika's logo is a stylised ionic capital inspired by the ‘Ionic Order’ of Ancient Greek architecture. This capital was used to crown building columns that supported roofs. They gave an artistic architectural expression to a structural building element.
We like to think that the legacy of ancient Greek architecture has inspired designers. As the Ionic capital is the decorative highlight of the column, so too our jewellery and decorative objects complement and highlight your individuality.
ANTIKA’s designs are inspired from the old and are dedicated to simplicity and quality, and are a celebration of sterling silver. Wear with confidence.
