Art Deco jewellery
ANTIKA's new collection is inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 1920s and 1930s.
Stylised geometry, with straight lines and triangles, is reminiscent of Art Deco jewellery, interior architecture and furniture.
The Manhattan series combines sterling silver with rose and yellow gold that evokes images of the movement in New York City where designers took advantage of a palette of semi-precious stones and other materials to embrace the freedom of expression that came with postwar prosperity.
The Paris Metró series is named after architect, Hector Guimard's Art Nouveau entrances to the Paris Metró of the early 1900s.
The Lalique series is reminiscent of René Jules Lalique's (1860-1945) glass art and jewellery.
